SEDF divides its activities into three main areas:

Description

Description

The 5-year project aims to establish a market-oriented and flexible TVET system which responds to the demand for competitive skills of the modern sector as well as to the needs of youth and under-privileged groups. a) to enable greater flexibility, better quality and more relevant TVET

Description

BQSP aims to improve the quality management system in public-private partnership through strengthened organisations, increased awareness about quality, updated legislation and policies in order to:

a) raise the systems of quality management, standards and conformity assessment to meet internationally accepted levels set by SAARC and WTO

b) improve innovation and competition in the textile and garment industries

c) strengthen capacity of the Fisheries Inspection body to ensure appropriate testing is carried out and that controls of frozen fish exports (particularly shrimps) are improved, to meet international standards (for EU market access).

d) increase awareness and capacity of the private sector to ensure that international quality standards are met.
