Project details

To promote economic progress by mobilising sustainable activities with the rural poor through the creation of self sustaining, self managing community organisations whilst at the same enhancing the grassroots community lobbying power with respect to the allocation of local resources and quality of local services; To ensure the protection and enhancement of the local environment and reduce vulnerability to natural disaster; Activities: creation of self managing organisations, enhancing community's capacities, promoting civil society through community forums, improving quality of local services through capacity building, flood disaster preparedness.
